Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. About the role
Directly reporting into our Engineering Manager, this is an exciting full-time and permanent role, embedded in our Identity and Access Management team. Working in a fast-paced environment, this role provides an exciting challenge and opportunity for career growth within IAM.
As a Security Engineer, you will play a critical role that aims to provide IAM engineering services to support, develop and maintain the IAM components of Coles’ Infrastructure. Making meaningful contributions to the development of the Identity strategy and architecture to ensure our ongoing success to successfully protect Coles’ internal assets.
You can expect to:
- Assist in the selection of and deployment of new technologies.
- Identify opportunities for IT contribution to business improvement.
- Enforce compliance with IAM principals including least privilege access, password management, Audit logging, certificate issuance and revocation.
- Work collaboratively with Product Manages, Engineering Mangers and Senior Security Engineers to identify and implement security best practices.
- Apply a risk-based approach to information security covering the security aspects of Cloud & On-premise IAM services with a focus on authentication and authorisation services.
- Be responsible for IAM security risk reduction activities using engineering and automation principles.
- Manage incident response for IAM security events to ensure service recovery and availability.
- Develop monitoring and reporting on the health, effectiveness and efficiency of IAM security events.
- Practice security hygiene, strong authentication and authorization, identity lifecycle management and governance.
About you
As part of your toolkit, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in an IAM Engineering role or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining IAM Security solutions.
- Ability to innovate and provide efficient delivery and operational processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Strong vendor management and vendor collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
