To understand our merchandise business, we need to understand our customers. That’s why you’ll find us working across all business units at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Coles Local. Supermarkets is one of the largest teams at Coles, but we’re a close-knit group that come from all over the world.

About the role

Partnering with the Merchandise teams, as a Range Review Analyst you will support Category Managers to execute and develop the range strategy, engaging multiple cross-functional teams to ensure range reviews are delivered on time and benefits are realised. 

You will project manage several range reviews with a large focus on range and analytics. You'll be reviewing and analysing range performance, alongside recommending actions to business unit teams to effectively land range changes within our stores. 

 

You’ll also:
•    Lead cross functional projects and attend relevant range review process meetings
•    Drive collaboration with category teams in the development of category ranges to improve store sales and customer satisfaction
•    Contribute to a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for category management and category planning
•    Support stakeholder identification and assessment
 
 


About you and your skills

In this role you will partner with varied stakeholders and leverage your ability to effectively influence.  This role will provide genuine impact for the work you will be doing as part of a supportive, collaborative team.  You will also need:  

•    Proven experience within an FMCG/Retail product environment
•    High level of proficiency using appropriate analytical tools and techniques
•    Demonstrated communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior business stakeholders
•    Developed negotiating and influencing skills
•    Experience managing projects, or work-streams within projects.
•    Proven ability to learn quickly and develop new skills.
