Store Development is redefining retail design. Our team is constantly challenging possibilities. We work with innovative formats and concepts to connect with customers and enhance their in-store experiences, no matter the size or layout of our stores.

 

About the Role

 

As a Range & Space Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how customers experience our stores. You’ll lead the strategic direction for how products are presented, ensuring layouts are designed and optimised to enhance visibility, efficiency and customer engagement. Your leadership translates business strategy into practical, data driven frameworks that elevate the shopping experience while supporting sustainable commercial growth.

 

You’ll also:

  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance across key range and space planning initiatives, ensuring high quality, timely delivery
  • Drive the use of data and insight to monitor return on space and influence decision making at both operational and strategic levels
  • Identify and champion opportunities for improved ranging and space utilisation, embedding continuous improvement across the team
  • Lead effective collaboration across cross functional teams to ensure alignment, clarity and successful project outcomes

 

 

About you and your skills

 

You are a commercially minded, strategic problem solver who blends design thinking with analytical rigour. You thrive in dynamic environments and are energised by the challenge of balancing customer needs, commercial priorities and operational realities. With strong stakeholder influence and a deep understanding of retail dynamics, you create clarity, empower your team and build confidence across the organisation.

 

You’ll also ideally have:

  • Proven experience within FMCG, supermarket or large retail environments, with a strong understanding of product, customer, and operational interactions
  • Expertise in range reviews and space planning principles
  • High attention to detail underpinned by strong data and digital literacy
  • Advanced problem solving and critical thinking capabilities, enabling you to translate insight into strategic, actionable recommendations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced environments
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication and influencing skills that drive outcomes through others
