About the team
Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.
About the role
The Quality Analyst plays a key role in ensuring technology solutions delivered across the Commercial and Liquor Domain meet defined quality standards and are safe for production deployment.
In this role, you will contribute to quality assurance activities across the full delivery lifecycle - executing test plans, validating functional and technical requirements, managing test data, and supporting environment readiness, etc. You will be responsible for identifying test coverage, performing thorough testing, conducting reviews and walkthroughs, documenting results, identifying regression test suite, raising defects, and ensuring issues are resolved prior to release.
Another key focus of this role is supporting quality engineering practices through the development, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts under the guidance of senior quality engineers. Experience in test automation would be highly regarded, as you will work closely with Quality Engineers and Product Teams to improve test coverage, accelerate test execution cycles, and support early defect identification and management though test automation.
By contributing to quality governance and continuous improvement initiatives, the Quality Analyst helps ensure technology changes are delivered with stability, accuracy, and minimal operational risk - ultimately supporting positive customer experiences across the C&L domain.
