A fantastic opportunity to join the Marketing function as a Marketing Transformation Project Manager for 12 months maternity leave cover.


Reporting into the Head of Marketing and Strategy Transformation, you will support the development of the Marketing Transformation strategy, including the evolution of our customer proposition, go to market strategy, supporting marketing technology platforms, data utilisation and capability building in the team.       



What you’ll be doing


Working closely with marketing and functional stakeholders you will facilitate scoping, planning, budgeting, and co-ordination of delivery of key marketing capital projects ensuring that all marketing transformation projects are delivered to scope, time, and budget, as well as supporting with marketing strategy governance, including quarterly review, planning and prioritisation to ensure the marketing team is progressing on its strategic commitments.


You’ll also:

  • Project manage and implement key frameworks, processes, systems, tools, capability, and culture building programs
  • Lead cross functional working groups to ensure timely delivery of business initiatives
  • Develop a pipeline of initiatives and prioritise according to business strategy
  • Generate ideas for the evolution of the marketing function at Coles
  • Support development of business cases for transformation projects
  • Ensure appropriate governance and clear communication across Marketing teams and supporting functions on key projects



Good things you’ll need


We’re after a strong project management professional with a proven track record of delivering complex change projects with positive mindset, with an ability to help working groups navigate the ebbs and flows of delivering change projects.


You'll also need:

  • Experience in leading and influencing cross functional teams and stakeholders in a dynamic project environment
  • Proven ability to manage complex program scheduling, financial and resource management, change control, dependencies, status reporting, documentation, and deliverable management
  • Able to create structure out of ambiguity, prioritise and address issues and roadblocks 
  • Strong excel and PowerPoint skills #LI-MAR
