About the team
Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.
About the role
To lead the delivery of digital initiatives aligned to the business strategy whilst leading a team through the entire delivery lifecycle, demonstrating the key values and behaviours of a successful Project Manager.
The Project Manager (Martech) will take a consistent and ongoing approach to prioritisation, planning, forecasting, managing uncertainty, reporting, dependencies, risks & issues management, contingency planning and road mapping of initiatives across a large program of work. The scope of the role is full accountability of E2E delivery, supporting functional stream leads and product managers communicating in defining the project detailed delivery plan and reporting assumptions and the progress to key stakeholders while maintaining the cadence of delivery.

- Implement appropriate reporting, governance, and control functions
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues
- Prepare dashboards and metrics to support delivery, including velocity, cycle time, burndown, and fix version reports
- Manage steering committees with senior stakeholders (projects and programs)
- Analyze data and articulate actionable insights in business terms
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and technical specifications
Work Experience
- 5+ years in project management
- Managed medium to large complex digital projects greater than $2m
- Experience with Martech platforms (ideally OneTrust)
- Successfully managed projects that involve multiple functional areas, multiple technologies, multiple external parties (including vendors), working with dispersed teams, cost and duration of project and considerable levels of change and uniqueness
- Have managed components of large-scale rollouts

- Advanced understanding of agile values, principles, methods and techniques – be the champion of agile and at times coach teams and individuals outside of your team on how to leverage agile methods
- Strong workshop facilitation skills, including agile ceremonies, product discoveries and similar events
- Tertiary degree relating to Technology, Project Management, Digital Marketing or relevant fields desirable
