Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As part of the broader Technology team, Corporate Systems are responsible for the development and support of applications across multiple enterprise platforms including Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Risk, Safety and Legal. 


In this role you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of some exciting projects within the HR (People & Culture Space). You will be a key part of ensuring the management and delivery of applications that are required to support our workforce of over 125,000 team members! 

 
About the role

As part of this role, you will be responsible for delivering small to medium sized ($100k - $2m) projects spanning multiple business and IT areas, to achieve business objectives within the People Technology domain

You will be required to deliver complex initiatives spanning multiple business and technology areas, to achieve business objectives.  You will be responsible for managing scope, cost & schedule, risks, vendors & teams. This includes developing comprehensive project management plans to deliver projects according to performance measures and achieve business outcomes, as well as developing schedules to manage work including external dependencies and impacts and implement dependency management processes.


Your stakeholder management skills are exceptional as you will be required to partner with senior stakeholders to ensure expectations for delivery are met or managed appropriately. You will design and deliver communications plans for stakeholders and will work closely with stakeholder to understand their needs and motivations and implement strategies to address complexities.  
Ideally you have previous experience delivering SuccessFactors and Employee central Payroll or any other HCM technology (highly desirable)

 

About you and your skills

•    At least 4-5 years in IT project management or managing of project budgets from 100k up to $2m.
•    Proven Project Management skills managing Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communication, Risk, Procurement, Stakeholder Management and Integration 
•    Experience with delivery of projects through practical Agile & waterfall methodologies 
•    Successfully managed complex projects ie. projects that involve multiple functional areas, teams (including vendors and offshore), technologies and critical systems. 
•    Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
•    Establishment of appropriate project governance (based on project size / complexity)
•    Guide teams in how to stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning their approach.
•    Experience delivering SuccessFactors and Employee central Payroll or any other HCM technology (highly desirable)
•    Assessing and managing risk associated with the project
•    Establishment of appropriate project governance (based on project size / complexity)
•    Delivery of status reporting / project updates
•    Behavioural skills driving successful project management:  stakeholder partnership, judgement, accountability, learning agility.
•    Building business cases.
