<h3>About the role</h3>

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving change and delivering impactful finance transformation projects? We’re looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives that reshape how finance operates across our organisation.

 

As Project Manager, Finance Transformation, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects and programs within approved scope, budget, and timelines. You’ll integrate technical and people aspects of change, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

 

You’ll also:

  • Lead the planning and execution of finance transformation projects, managing resources and timelines effectively
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders to gain buy-in, manage expectations, and navigate conflicting perspectives
  • Champion project management best practices while balancing organisational culture and existing processes
  • Represent the project across all levels of the business, leveraging external consultants and experts as needed
  • Translate complex and ambiguous challenges into clear, actionable plans
  • Align project objectives with strategic, commercial, and operational drivers
  • Utilise advanced project management tools (eg. MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) to manage workflow and information flow
  • Apply and adapt methodologies such as PMI, Prince2, and Agile to suit project needs
  • Ensure robust project governance and compliance with organisational frameworks
  • Solve complex delivery issues with a holistic, analytical approach
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Make informed decisions by drawing on experience, consultation, and sound judgement
  • Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor, building project management capability across the organisation

 

 

<h3>About you and your skills</h3>
  

Our ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with a proven track record of leading multiple, concurrent initiatives, particularly within large-scale finance transformation environments. They bring strong interpersonal and delivery skills, enabling them to engage stakeholders, manage complex workflows, and drive outcomes across diverse teams. With a solid understanding of finance systems and technologies including SAP, they are comfortable navigating dynamic resourcing needs, seamlessly shifting across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment and progress.

 

You’ll also have:

  • Ideally CA or CPA qualified, or possess a deep understanding of finance operating models and processes
  • Proven experience leading large-scale projects or programs in complex organisations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, particularly at senior levels
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and tools, with relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, ScrumMaster)
  • Exceptional problem-solving, judgement, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through change and ambiguity
