About the role

Reporting to the Program Manager – First Choice Liquor Market Transformation, we’re looking for a gun Project Coordinator to help drive the weekly renewal support activities and deliver the final phase of our First Choice Liquor Market transformations.


You’ll be responsible in the deployment of cross functional mini-projects, supporting analysis for deep dives and coordinating month-end activities.


Please note this is a 12 month full time fixed term role with opportunity to extend.


What you’ll be doing

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be problem solving and taking initiate to resolve issues. You’ll engage with and coordinate stakeholders through the lifecycle of the project and deliver regular project reporting.


You’ll also:

  • ensure scope for projects are clearly defined and appropriate change control processes and governance is applied. e.g. maintaining project documentation and change control registers.
  • support in the maintenance of program management plans to deliver projects according to performance measures and to achieve business outcomes.
  • support in building comprehensive project schedules in the appropriate tool.  Monitor the schedule to track milestone completion.
  • maintain project documentation e.g. team sites, repositories, and registers.


Good things you’ll need

We’re looking for a commercially minded professional looking to grow their career in the project management space. You have prior experience coordinating and driving end to end strategic projects, involving major business transformations. Passion for liquor is highly desirable.


You’ll also need

  • demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple, diverse projects & teams at all levels
  • proven ability to manage project scheduling, financial and resource management, change control, risks, issues, and assumptions
  • experience with status reporting, documentation, and deliverable coordination
  • experience working with different project methodologies
  • strong, pragmatic influencing skills, strong communication, organisational, coaching, planning & negotiation skills
  • strong preference for retail experience
  • formal project management accreditation highly desirable.
