About the team
As the way we shop continues to evolve, our Digital team keeps us at the cutting edge. Driven by our innovative, inclusive, and forward-thinking culture, we’re constantly looking at ways to create differentiated, omni-channel experiences for our customers and build the next generation of digital retailing.
About the role
As the Product Manager – Omnichannel Loyalty Capability, you will be responsible for shaping, delivering, and scaling the core features and capabilities that power loyalty across our omnichannel ecosystem. Sitting within the Omni Experience team in the Digital Product portfolio, this role is central to Coles’ loyalty capability—enabling features that are connected, personalised, and value-driven.
You’ll lead the delivery of loyalty platform capabilities across in-store and digital touchpoints, working closely with engineering, vendors, operations, operational, solution teams, marketing, data, and CX teams. You are customer-obsessed, commercially minded, and technically fluent—able to translate business needs into scalable solutions that drive both short-term impact and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
•Responsible for the end-to-end vision and product lifecycle for our loyalty ecosystem across the Coles Group, including promotional, offer management, membership hierarchy, earn & burn mechanics, technical product enhancement and continually improving the member experience alongside the Omni-Experience team.
•Partner with CX, engineering, legal, support teams, compliance, operations, digital and tech product teams, marketing, architects, finance, customer service, data, engineering, trade, and commercial trade teams to define and deliver loyalty use cases at pace, balancing MVP delivery with long-term scalability.
•Lead the loyalty product squad - backlog, roadmap, and delivery priorities, ensuring alignment with strategic outcomes across the enterprise.
•Lead the conception, discovery and support the end-to-end delivery of loyalty technology initiatives, from discovery through to deployment.
•Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and business teams to ensure successful execution and ongoing capability enhancements to the loyalty stack.
•Manage risks, mitigation strategies, scope changes, and blockers proactively to keep initiatives on track.
•Ensure all project or product initiative milestones are met and business outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
•Translate customer, business, and partner needs into functional requirements, new features and capabilities.
•Support operational readiness, go-to-market coordination, and internal stakeholder alignment.
Skills & Experience
•5+ years in product or capability management roles, ideally in loyalty, digital product or customer Martech.
•Understanding of how modern loyalty stacks operate – including rules engines, member services, wallets, identity, and lifecycle management.
•Experience in platform features, APIs, and reusable capabilities – not just front-end experiences.
•Familiarity with composable architecture, integration patterns, and cross-platform data flow.
•Comfortable working in agile delivery environments with cross-functional tech teams.
