About the team

As the way we shop continues to evolve, our Digital team keeps us at the cutting edge. Driven by our innovative, inclusive, and forward-thinking culture, we’re constantly looking at ways to create differentiated, omni-channel experiences for our customers and build the next generation of digital retailing.

About the Role

As the Product Manager – In-Store Fulfilment Optimisation, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our customers receive their online orders and how our team members fulfil them in Supermarkets. With a focus on Rover, our In-Store Fulfilment Platform, you’ll lead the ongoing evolution and optimisation of the product, creating simpler and more effective experiences for our team members while improving fulfilment outcomes for customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Product strategy and vision – Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for in-store fulfilment optimisation, aligned to the broader Coles Online and fulfilment strategy.

  • Roadmap ownership and prioritisation – Own and continuously evolve the product roadmap, identifying and prioritising opportunities based on customer and team member value, operational impact, strategic alignment and business outcomes.

  • Customer and team member experience – Build a deep understanding of our customers and store team members, ensuring their needs and pain points are at the heart of product decisions.

  • Stakeholder management – Build strong relationships across Digital, Technology, Operations and the broader business, creating alignment on priorities, outcomes, dependencies and trade-offs.

  • Cross-functional squad leadership – Lead and empower a multidisciplinary squad, providing clarity on the problems to solve, desired outcomes and priorities while fostering collaboration and shared accountability.

  • Discovery and problem solving – Lead product discovery to identify, validate and size opportunities, combining customer and team member feedback with product, operational and commercial insights.

You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, bringing structure to complex challenges and taking ownership from identifying an opportunity through to delivering measurable outcomes. You combine strategic thinking with a bias for action and aren’t afraid to get into the detail when needed.

You’ll also bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience in product management, ideally within digital, retail, eCommerce, fulfilment, supply chain or operational technology environments.

  • Strong experience developing product strategies, roadmaps and prioritisation frameworks and translating strategy into clear, executable plans.

  • Experience leading cross-functional product squads and partnering closely with engineering, design, data and business teams.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to create alignment across diverse stakeholders and senior leaders.

  • A strong understanding of product discovery and delivery, from identifying and validating problems through to launching and optimising solutions.

  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to combine quantitative insights with customer and team member feedback to make informed product decisions.
