About the team
Our Technology team is the backbone of the business, building and maintaining the information technology infrastructure that support Coles Group. As a part of the Technology team, you get the opportunity to work through complex, challenging, meaningful problems using large data sets and new technologies to expand your skills and experience.
About the role
As a Product Manager, you will manage the lifecycle of products within your assigned domain, shaping experiences and solutions that support supermarkets, liquor and group platforms. You will define requirements, prioritise features, and work closely with engineering, design and operations teams to deliver products that are reliable, user‑friendly and aligned to business goals.
You will engage with stakeholders to understand needs, capture insights and identify opportunities. Using data, customer feedback and research, you will drive informed decision‑making and ensure product roadmaps deliver measurable outcomes. This role requires strong collaboration, analytical thinking and an ability to influence across business and technology teams.
Key responsibilities include
- Defining product requirements, prioritising features and partnering with engineering, design and operations to deliver high‑quality products
- Translating product strategy into actionable roadmaps, backlogs and delivery outcomes
- Balancing customer needs, business priorities and technical feasibility to deliver scalable, user‑centred product solutions
- Using analytics, research and customer insights to guide prioritisation and measure success
- Ensuring alignment with internal standards, governance frameworks and enterprise direction
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, maintaining transparency on priorities, progress, risks and service performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve product quality, delivery efficiency and team collaboration
About you and your skills
You will bring strong product management capability, customer focus and analytical thinking, including:
- 3–6 years’ experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product‑focused role
- Demonstrated experience delivering measurable value for users and the business
- Skilled in collaborating with engineering, design, marketing and cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, user experience, and agile delivery practices
- Ability to translate business processes and customer insights into product concepts and solutions
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills
- Experience supporting digital channels or customer‑facing products in large, complex organisations
