About the role
This is a 12 month, fixed term position with likelihood to become permanent.
As Product Manager, you’ll support the development and commercialisation of Coles 360’s off-site media portfolio, spanning display, video, social, and programmatic channels inc CTV/BVOD.
You’ll build products that leverage Coles’ market-leading first-party data to deliver smarter targeting, richer insights, and closed-loop measurement. Working closely with commercial, data, and tech partners, you’ll design GTMs that scale, strengthen relationships with leading publishers and platforms, and ensure Coles 360 remains at the forefront of retail media innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the off-site product roadmap, supporting the broader off-network and audience strategy.
- Build go-to-market presentations, rate cards and sales enablement materials that clearly communicate product value.
- Partner with LiveRamp, InfoSum and other clean-room providers to enable safe, privacy-compliant audience activation and measurement.
- Collaborate with vendors, publishers, broadcasters and social platforms to expand Coles’ off-site footprint.
- Support commercial teams with data-driven narratives and product storytelling for clients and agencies.
- Track and report product performance metrics – adoption, yield, sell-through, and ROI.
- Champion experimentation and innovation across new formats, retail DSPs, and emerging channels.
- Contribute to measurement and reporting, in conjunction with the Measurement team, to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable insights for product and partner performance.
- Communicate complex product concepts clearly and confidently to technical and non‑technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding across teams.
Key Experience Required
You’re a commercially-minded digital product expert with a strong grasp of programmatic, digital paid media and the power of first-party data. You thrive on collaboration, can translate technical capability into client value, and bring a polished presence in front of both senior stakeholders and agency partners.
You’ll also bring
- 7+ years’ experience in digital advertising or programmatic media, ideally within a large publisher, media owner, or retail-media network.
- Strong knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, clean rooms and audience activation.
- Proven ability to design and deliver GTM strategies and sales enablement packs.
- Deep understanding of first-party data integration for targeting, insights and measurement.
- Strong existing relationships across publishers, social networks, and broadcasters.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
- Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne to attend key vendor, client and agency meetings.
