About the role

Coles is looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive omnichannel and innovation product development. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end process of identifying challenges, developing solutions, and rolling out digital technology trials in store environments. You will collaborate with operations, technology teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure seamless integration and implementation. Acting as a key contact for internal stakeholders, you will provide updates, gather feedback, and foster cross-team collaboration. Additionally, you will coordinate workshops, presentations, and meetings while preparing executive summaries and performance analytics to communicate project insights and outcomes effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead omnichannel and innovation product development, including identifying challenges, ideating solutions, prototyping, testing, and rolling out digital technology trials in store environments.
  • Collaborate with operations teams, technology teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure successful integration and implementation of new technologies.
  • Act as a primary contact for internal stakeholders, providing updates, gathering feedback, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to advance digital innovation initiatives.
  • Coordinate and support presentations, workshops, and meetings to align teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare comprehensive materials, including executive summaries, performance analytics, and lessons learned, to communicate project status, insights, and outcomes effectively.

About you and your skills

  • 3+ years of experience in product management or as part of a project delivery team in the digital space.
  • Strong understanding of digital and omnichannel consumer products.
  • Proven experience managing diverse stakeholders in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating closely with technology and engineering teams.
  • Experience working within large, complex organizations.
  • Skilled in communicating and rationalizing product decisions.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a high tolerance for change.
  • Proficiency in tools like Confluence and JIRA is preferred.
  • A tertiary degree is highly desirable.
