About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (Cyber Security) to lead discovery, shape strategic direction, and guide delivery squads toward meaningful security and customer outcomes. While much of the incoming work is project‑based, this role is not a Project Manager or Delivery Manager position.  Instead, you will bring a strong product mindset—framing problems, identifying value, and ensuring initiatives align with a clear product strategy and long‑term organisational goals.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Lead discovery from end to end, including problem definition, user and stakeholder research, options analysis, value hypothesis creation, and shaping clear recommendations for delivery.
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for one or more delivery squads, ensuring clarity of vision, customer experience focus, and alignment to our cyber strategy.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, partnering with your squads to frame work in the context of the larger strategic direction.
  • Work closely with the Crew Lead to ensure prioritisation aligns with business needs, operational requirements, and product strategy.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and cross‑crew teams to manage dependencies, proactively identify risks, and maintain alignment across initiatives.
  • Drive initiative delivery from discovery through execution, release, and benefit realisation.
  • Champion customer value and cyber resilience, ensuring outcomes support both user experience and security uplift.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in Product Management, ideally within cyber security or a complex technical domain.
  • Demonstrated capability in running and leading discovery phases, from research through to recommendation and delivery readiness.
  • Strong backlog management, prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to operate in a project‑based environment while applying a product thinking lens.
  • Comfort working in cross‑functional delivery squads in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to break strategy down into actionable, well‑defined work.

About you and your skills

  • 5 years’ experience as an Agile Product Manager, experience building and maintaining squad backlog.
  • Proven experience working in Cyber Security, good to have Identity and Access Management or similar.
  • A consistent history of delivering measurable results for both users and the business.
  • Experience working across multiple squads and contributing to the Product Management Chapter.
  • Experience working in fast paced environments and comfortable with change.
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, engineering function and designers.
  • Proven ability to independently identify, triage and resolve problems at the squad level.
  • Ability to identify and prioritise work based on business value & risk management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Understanding of the broader digital ecosystem including software development lifecycle, agile methodology, user experience design, usability and accessibility etc
