Operating as a centralised development and enablement function within Coles Technology, the team unites product, engineering, and platform capabilities to deliver the intelligence layer of the enterprise. We serve every part of Coles — from computer vision applications that enhance in-store experiences and reduce loss, to forecasting, optimisation, and decision-support solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and agility across our supply chain, retail operations, and corporate functions.

About the role

As a Product Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for enabling successful scoping, prioritisation and discovery delivery of multiple product initiatives across the organisation. Leading the team of 8-10 analysts, you will play key role in front door demand management, translating business demand into structured, prioritised delivery work while balancing team capacity. You are a leader who combines strong project and delivery management capability with a modern product mindset.

 Key responsibilities include

•  Own and operate the front door intake process for new initiatives, requests, and change demand.
• Assess, size, prioritise, and sequence incoming work in partnership with Product, Technology, and Business leaders
• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of product initiatives and projects across parallel workstreams.
• Apply strong project management discipline to planning, scheduling, dependency management, risk mitigation, and reporting.
• Own capacity planning and utilisation for a team of 8–10 analysts, ensuring sustainable workloads across initiatives.
• Allocate people effectively based on skills, availability, and delivery priorities.
• Lead, coach, and support a high‑performing team of analysts across multiple projects and squads.
• Act as a primary point of coordination between Product, Technology and broader business teams
• Facilitate governance forums, planning sessions, and prioritisation discussions.

About You and Your Skills

• Demonstrated people leadership experience managing 8+ analysts or delivery professionals
• Strong background in project management, including planning, risk management, and multi‑stream delivery
• Proficient experience using project management and forecasting tools
• Hands‑on experience with front door intake, demand management, and portfolio prioritisation
• Strong capability in capacity planning and resource management in complex delivery environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
