  • Contribute insights that help prioritise features and improve customer and business outcomes.

Backlog & Requirements

  • Translate business intent and product features into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Define business rules, constraints, assumptions, and edge cases to ensure effective delivery.
  • Ensure backlog items meet the agreed Definition of Ready.
  • Maintain traceability from product outcomes to features and stories.

Squad Collaboration

  • Facilitate or support backlog refinement sessions.
  • Act as the primary point of clarification for requirements during delivery.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to ensure priorities and scope are clearly understood.

  • Support defect triage and validation through requirement clarification.
  • Communicate changes, assumptions, and impacts across the squad and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.

  • Experience in retail systems—particularly supply chain, replenishment, or forecasting—is highly desirable.

Skills

  • Ability to translate business intent into clear, buildable, testable requirements.
  • Competence in analytics and discovery research methods.
  • Effective facilitation and communication skills.
