You’ll also:

  • Guide the team through security and privacy development practices, ensuring the engineering output delivers to modern security standards.
  • Support the resolution of major incidents and lead a team to root-cause outages and look to permanently resolve.
  • Oversee platform stability and be accountable for uptime and performance, fixes and changes required to maintain stability.
  • Act as the technical point-man in capacity planning.
  • Work collaboratively with the Business Stakeholders, and Business Programme Managers and Implementation partners to ensure delivery success.

We’re after a seasoned software engineer with leadership experience and experience with at least one major ecommerce platform (HCL Commerce, Salesforce, Magento, commercetools, etc). You will have experience working with heavy-traffic platforms across large scale projects.

You’ll also need:

  • Experience with one or more major database platforms – e.g. DB2 (preferred), SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
