As a Performance and Reward Specialist, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, planning, and overseeing the execution of performance and reward services across a designated portfolio of functions within the Coles Group. Partnering closely with the Reward Delivery team and reporting directly into the Head of (Enterprise) Performance and Reward, you’ll play a critical role in driving and governing our performance and reward culture.

Lead the design of performance and reward programs and cyclical activities (including annual remuneration reviews, performance reviews, incentive programs, benefit offering and recognition programs).

Provide expert advice and oversight to ensure consistent, fair, and strategically aligned performance and reward practices.

Evaluate and enhance performance and reward programs—reviewing design, processes, systems, and outcomes to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Monitor and govern key program metrics and stakeholder feedback to assess impact and alignment with strategic goals.

Collaborate cross-functionally with P&C Business Partners, Finance, and senior level stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes and stakeholder engagement.

Proven experience in a Performance and Reward lead or specialist role, ideally within a large, complex organisation.

Strong track record in designing and delivering cyclical performance and reward activities (e.g., remuneration reviews, bonus processes, and performance management cycles).

Skilled in performance and reward program design and process assessment, with a focus on optimisation and innovation.

A relevant degree in HR, Business, or a related field is highly desirable.
