About the Role


Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving people-centric change? At Coles, we're looking for a Change Delivery Manager to join our team and lead transformative initiatives that shape the future of our organisation. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by developing and implementing innovative change management strategies that enhance our people and culture. This is a senior leadership role where you will be managing a team of 5 experienced People Change Managers.

You are an entrepreneurial thinker with a strong HR background, ready to take on challenges and make impactful decisions. Your confidence and decisiveness enable you to make strategic decisions and drive change effectively. You excel in working with stakeholders at all levels, from in-store teams to executive leadership. Your ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments and industries like retail and FMCG sets you apart. You are a natural leader who can inspire and guide teams through transformative change, ensuring alignment and engagement across the organisation.
 

What you will be doing

 

  • Champion Change: Lead the development and embedding of change management methodologies, tools, and approaches to create positive experiences and successful project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Consult, engage, and advise stakeholders on contemporary change methodologies to ensure buy-in and ownership.
  • Build Capability: Strengthen our change leadership and readiness, fostering a robust change community.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Generate and interpret data to manage change impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Governance Excellence: Lead governance and review processes to ensure change programmes are well-planned, resourced, and commercially viable.
  • Thought Leadership: Challenge existing thinking and optimise change experiences through contemporary practices.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage OPEX expenditure related to team management and change solutions.
  • Resource Optimisation: Oversee the engagement and development of internal and external resources.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure team compliance with company values, policies, and external regulations.
  • Culture Building: Foster a strong governance and compliance culture within the team.


 

Ideally you will have

 

  • Minimum 5 years experience in senior human resources or organisational development roles, with significant experience in people change management within large matrix organisations, ideally in retail, FMCG, or similar industries.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and influence stakeholders.
