At Coles, we're looking for a People Analytics Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in measuring the ROI on our people initiatives. This mid-senior role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing insights that shape our people strategy.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Data & Analytics: Utilise advanced data and analytics skills to gather, analyse, and interpret data related to people initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, understanding their needs and delivering insights that drive decision-making.
  • Presentation Skills: Create compelling decks and present data-driven insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and engagement.
  • ROI Measurement: Focus on measuring the return on investment (ROI) of people initiatives, providing actionable insights to improve effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR and business leaders to align analytics with strategic objectives and support data-driven decision-making.

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

 

  • Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of people data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver regular reports and dashboards that track key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to enhance people initiatives and drive business outcomes.
  • Project Management: Manage analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve data processes, tools, and methodologies.

 

 

What You’ll Need:
 

 

  • Experience: Proven experience in data analytics, preferably within HR or people analytics.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau), and excellent stakeholder management abilities.
  • Presentation: Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver engaging decks to senior stakeholders.
  • Focus on ROI: Demonstrated experience in measuring and reporting on the ROI of initiatives.
  • Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
