About the role 


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMO Manager to join our Commercial portfolio and lead a Project Management Office (PMO) function, working with various project managers and business owners, to drive improved project governance, robust project tracking and reporting, and project health transparency.  


This is a pivotal role, playing a large part in our overarching strategy to deliver optimized processes across the business. You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally and manage the project management process end-to-end, championing what good looks like to enable consistency of approach in the function.  


You can also expect to:  

 

  • Lead a PMO function interacting and supporting transformation and delivery project managers to plan and implement projects, track progress and report on key deliverables for the Commercial Leadership Team.  
  • Manage the project management process end to end using tools and templates to support the process and Commercial project managers with what good looks like to enable consistency of approach in the function. 
  • Ensure use of standardised reporting templates across the project management community enabling consistency and enabling a seamless move into BAU at the end of the project lifecycle. 
  • Build strong relationships with the finance team reporting on project spend to link back to project delivery feedback giving a cohesive view of project health. 
  • Use standardised templates to bring consistency to reporting and tracking. 
  • Support project managers with production of steering committee updates to enable consistency in project language and in status updates providing an objective overview where required. 
  • Identify opportunities which are able to be incorporated into future opportunities. 
  • Create a framework where improvements are identified and implemented. 


About your skills 


We are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and consider themselves to be personable whilst driving clear outcomes.  


You will also have in your toolkit:  

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail or related customer facing industry with experience in project management  
  • Relevant industry PM accreditation (Prince, PMBOK, Agile)  
  • Technical skills and demonstrated experience in using software programs and platforms for project management  
  • Experience in leading projects with stakeholders from multiple cross functional teams  
  • Proven ability to interpret analytical data and provide recommendations for improvement 
  • Change management experience 
  • Strong organisational and planning skills  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
