About the role - 10 month FTC starting in August 2025


The P&C Business Partner Manager – Technology partners with tech leaders to align people strategy with business goals, drive workforce planning, and lead change across major transformations. Reporting to the Head of P&C – Technology & Digital and supporting General Managers, this role ensures the right structure, capability, and culture are in place for tech teams to scale, grow talent, and deliver impact.
 


What You’ll Be Doing


Strategic Partnership: Work closely with tech leaders to understand business goals and deliver aligned people strategies (e.g., workforce planning, capability build, culture uplift).
Accountable for delivering the workforce strategy and roadmap: Insourcing contingent talent, Implementing upskilling for capabilities needed in the new model, Partner with senior stakeholders (General Managers)
Talent & Capability: Support the identification, development, and retention of critical tech talent; drive succession planning and leadership development.
Organisational Design: Identify, define organisational design and advise on team structures, roles, and ways of working to enable agile delivery and tech innovation.
Change & Transformation: Support people aspects of tech transformation, operating model shifts, or system/tool implementations.
Culture & Engagement: Drive a high-performance and inclusive culture within tech teams, using data and insights  
P&C Initiatives: Translate enterprise-wide people initiatives (e.g., performance, diversity, EVP) into meaningful actions tailored for tech teams.

 

 

Good things you'll need


HR/People Advisory Experience: Proven experience as a People Business Partner in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Tech-Savvy Mindset: Experience supporting or partnering with technology, digital, or engineering teams. Understanding of agile environments is a strong advantage.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to align people initiatives with long-term business and workforce goals.
Delivery: Ability to drive the P&C Workforce strategy and deliver on key components across our COE Operating model and Technology function.
Relationship building: Ability to work across P&C teams and with a diverse range of business stakeholders at all levels
Commercial Acumen: Understand how tech contributes to broader business outcomes and the ability to influence through data and insight.
Change Management: Demonstrated ability to support organisational change and tech transformation programs.
Stakeholder Influence: Strong relationship-building and coaching skills, particularly with senior tech leaders and people managers.
Data-Driven: Comfortable working with people analytics to shape decisions and priorities
