About the role
We’re looking for a commercially savvy Own Brand Sourcing Manager to join our team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives that unlock value, elevate performance, and support business growth.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering a significant cost of goods sold (COGS) program while strengthening supplier strategies, improving margins, and supporting the growth of Own Brand products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure best-in-class sourcing practices, effective governance, and strong commercial outcomes.
You’ll also:
- Deliver strategic sourcing initiatives to improve margins and unlock value
- Contribute to a large-scale COGS program and drive commercial outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders across Commercial, Own Brand, Supply Chain, Finance and Sustainability teams
- Lead sourcing strategies at both SKU and broader category levels
- Strengthen supplier relationships and increase supplier choice
- Support growth of Own Brand portfolio and fixed-term agreements
- Embed best-practice sourcing disciplines, processes, and tools (including digital/AI capabilities)
- Drive governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across sourcing activities
About you and your skills
You’re a highly commercial procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment. You bring strong negotiation expertise, a passion for value creation, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. With a continuous improvement mindset, you’re always looking for smarter ways to drive efficiency and deliver results, while building strong, trusted relationships both internally and externally.
You’ll also ideally have:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related discipline
- Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing, and category management
- Proven track record leading complex commercial negotiations
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end sourcing and contracting processes
- Ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience working across multiple categories and dynamic environments
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value optimisation
