About the role

Our Liquor Online business is going through an area of rapid growth and transformation. Being one of the key growth areas and strategic priority for the Liquor business, there’s no better time to join our team.


Reporting into the National Omnichannel Operations, Service and Business Development Manager, we have a newly created role for an Online Transformation Manager to join our team.


You will be accountable for Driving the Online Operations Growth Initiatives and transformation project plan across, 900+ Click & Collect stores, Coles Online, Uber Eats, Vintage Cellars, First Choice Liquor Market and Liquorland. Accountable for managing and delivering key growth areas and marketplaces with carriers, suppliers, call centre partners and business teams. 


This role requires working closely with multiple stakeholders internally and externally. The ability to manage and influence people at different levels will be key to achieving outcomes.


What you’ll be doing


Driving sales, profit, simplicity and customer experience through Click & Collect (C&C)

  • Develop and drive the C&C reset and transformation program across over 900 stores in all three brands
  • Implement new systems, processes and ways of working to unlock store growth, product availability and best in class customer experience for C&C
  • Deliver C&C KPIs and continuous improvement program


Shape and execute the On Demand and New business strategy

  • Execute the marketplace rollout program end to end
  • Deliver new business channels for Coles Liquor Online based on customer demand and market trends
  • Execute the On-Demand proposition for Liquor Online


Deliver the growth plan for Coles Online

  • Execute the Coles Online (Liquor) rollout plan nationally
  • Drive the business agenda to unlock new markets for Liquor
  • Define the ongoing training program for Coles Online Team Members
  • Develop and implement new store process, ways of working and store KPIs


Good things you’ll need

We are looking for a customer obsessed leader with proven success in executing large scale transformation projects on time and within budget. You have demonstrated retail experience within online fulfilment or click and collect.


You’ll also need

  • eCommerce experience and industry best practice knowledge
  • A strong background in retail store operations preferably within large format or multi-site retail
  • Ability to influence and work cross functionally with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • The ability to coach and influence a large, diverse team of talented individuals at store level
  • Successful track record leading multiple projects across multiple sites
  • Exceptional project management, commercial, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Commercial awareness combined with a passion for customers
  • The ability to analyse reports and interpret data #LI-BU
