Our Coles Liquor team work across three leading brands (Liquorland, First Choice Liquor Market and Vintage Cellars), each with their own unique offering and customer base. With a network of more than 930 stores and ultra-convenient online sites, delivering on our commitment to provide accessible drink solutions for every occasion.
About the role
Reporting into the On Demand Trade Manager, you will focus on driving online sales and profit growth for Coles Liquor through on demand delivery platforms such as Uber, DoorDash and Menulog. This role combines strategic planning, partner management and eCommerce execution to ensure the business meets its commercial targets and provides a seamless customer experience.
You will:
- Own and execute the online trade strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead campaign activations to ensure initiatives benefit both customer and in-store teams
- Manage partner relationships to drive commercial and fulfilment excellences
- Develop and manage Marketplace product range, pricing and promotional activity across 2,425+ active sites to drive sustainable project growth for Coles Liquor
- Enhance the digital customer experience on Marketplace platforms to increase key metrics such as conversion rate and average order value (AOV)
- Collaborate with internal teams across Category, Operations, Stores, Marketing, Range & Space, Supply Chain and Merchandise – ensuring drive of positive commercial outcomes
About you and your skills
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven eCommerce professional with proven experience managing online sales channels, ideally within a Liquor retail environment. They’ll successfully develop and execute trade strategies, manage relationships and use data to drive performance across key metrics.
You will have:
- Demonstrated a track record of delivering market-leading commercial and customer outcomes
- 3-5 years’ experience in driving online conversion and average order value
- 3-5 years' experience in working with back-end systems and business processes
- A strong customer-centric approach with the ability to negotiate and influence a varied stakeholder group
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
