By keeping those relationships strong and processes running smoothly, we’re able to maintain the availability and quality of our products for our customers.
 

About the role 
 

This role will take ownership of our Pooled Assets and Equipment control across our national supermarket and DC network.  
You will be a key stakeholder for all things pooled assets and asset control and be the key point of contact for our third-party suppliers. 

You will also: 
•    Drive initiatives & process change on limiting the amount of Pooled Equipment loss
•    Maintain and drive key relationships and performance metrics with key partners CHEP & Loscam
•    Develop & lead projects that deliver optimisation & cost reductions
•    Grow & maintain relationships with key DC leadership teams and DC equipment controllers 
•    Be a key point of contact for our supplier base on pooling and asset control matters 
•    Mentor and oversee 1 direct report and a wider team of 30 
 

About you and your skills 


You will have: 
•    Strong Experience with CHEP & Loscam Pooling systems
•    A deep understanding of 2iC or another pallet control software 
•    Previous exposure to complex FMCG or retail supply chains 
•    5+ years of experience leading large (15+) teams
