About the role
As the National B2B Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and growing Coles’ B2B business, with a focus on achieving high growth over the next four years. This is a key leadership role where you will manage the overall B2B strategy across the entire Coles business, with accountability for driving digital growth, sales, and profit.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Developing and executing the overall B2B strategy for Coles, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
- Managing the end-to-end P&L for the B2B business, ensuring strong sales growth and profitability.
- Leading a national Business Development Manager team, driving performance and ensuring compliance with budgets across states.
- Establishing clear KPIs and performance structures for the BDM team to achieve growth targets.
- Managing all financial reporting for the B2B business, with a strong focus on accuracy and transparency.
- Building and nurturing key national merchandise and marketing relationships to drive business growth.
- Spearheading business innovation and product development, identifying opportunities for new offerings to meet customer needs.
- Leading website product development initiatives aimed at improving customer acquisition and retention.
- Taking ownership of all national tenders and driving successful outcomes for the business.
- Fostering a positive, high-performance culture within the national BDM team.
- Overseeing credit accounts, customer service teams, and operations to ensure seamless delivery of services.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have
- Proven experience in a senior B2B leadership role, ideally within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong track record of sales growth and P&L management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in developing and implementing B2B strategies, including digital growth initiatives.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, tender management, and national marketing partnerships.
- Ability to drive innovation, product development, and continuous improvement.
- A customer-centric approach, with a focus on driving satisfaction and retention.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
