An opportunity to join the Central Brand and Content team as a Performance Marketing Manager has arisen. You will play a role in increasing customer loyalty to Coles through delivering the Performance Marketing Strategy and plan for the Coles Supermarkets, Coles Online and App.



What you’ll be doing


Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager for Acquisition and Engagement you, you will be responsible for Driving  growth in traffic and new customers in line with growth targets (visits, revenue, ROAS, MAS)


You’ll also:

  • Manage relationships with digital agencies and media partners to deliver the performance marketing plan across SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Programmatic and Affiliates.
  • Deliver the test and learn plan for performance to drive ongoing optimisation.
  • Be the Product owner of performance marketing tools such as Feed (Feedonomics), Adthena, Similarweb, SEMRush etc
  • Leverage our audience and data to effectively engage consumers at the right time, with the right message
  • Responsible for channel performance tracking, analytics and reporting in conjunction with agency partners and Marketing Analytics to measure effectiveness of activity and share actionable insight
  • Act as a SME embedding knowledge and expertise across wider marketing department in area of digital acquisition



Good things you’ll need

  • Tertiary qualification in Advertising, Marketing or Business
  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing preferably performance based
  • 2+ years operating within an eCommerce environment (desirable)
  • Experience managing agency partners
  • Demonstrated success in running direct response campaigns for ecommerce propositions including SEM, SEO, social media and video as well as offline channels to drive new customer acquisition
  • Experience operating within a complex environment
  • MarTech literacy, experience leveraging MarTech platforms, DMPs desirable
  • Strong influencing skills to work with internal stakeholders to implement developments to advance lifecycle marketing
  • Experience operating within a complex environment
  • Strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional project management and attention to detail
