About the role

A great opportunity for an experience Learning Partner to join our team on a fixed term basis. Reporting into the Capability Manager, you partner with senior business stakeholders on both receiving instructions on capability development needs and providing expertise and influence on the development of strategic capabilities as per the Coles Learning Strategy and framework.

 

Please note this role is initially a 9-month fixed term role and we are location flexible across Australia.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with key stakeholders to understand the functional / technical, core or leadership training requirements within their teams
  • Co-developing the long- and near-term training requirements through receiving direction from the relevant leaders and challenging leaders on the development of strategic capabilities as defined by the Coles strategy
  • Influencing leaders and driving commitment to capability development across their respective function
  • Gathering inputs to support the measurement of learning program effectiveness (training evaluations, business metrics, PIRs etc.), communicating outcomes, and making recommendations for future plans
  • Project management of key initiatives, including working with External vendors, internal learning consultants & learning co-ordinators to ensure development of programs meet business needs, quality standards and learning effectiveness measures.

 

Good things you’ll need

We are looking for a curious learning professional with end-to-end experience across the whole learning journey from identifying learning needs, through design and development of learning solution to implementation and review.

 

You’ll also need

  • Strong understanding and experience in learning strategy, frameworks, leadership development and other capability development areas.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing blending learning solutions.
  • Ability to provide strategic thought leadership & take stakeholders at all levels of the business on that journey.
  • Project Management skills and ability to deliver solutions to the business in time.
  • Analytical problem solving, able to identify and define a business problem and provide a relevant learning solution.
  • A sound understanding of Learning Management Systems
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or similar
  • Experience working in fast pace, complex business environments is highly desirable. #LI-PC
