About the role
Reporting to the National Operations Development Manager, you will be responsible for representation and integration of the eCommerce network and last mile operations into broader Coles’ transformational programs of work and leading and contributing towards the development of decision-making outputs. Supporting home delivery network transition activities from in-store fulfilment to centralised fulfilment
What you’ll be doing
- Support home delivery network transition activities from in-store fulfilment to centralised fulfilment
- Work on developing network roadmaps and business cases
- Develop scenario modelling for different network solutions, transition planning, delivery catchment analysis
- Work on rollout schedules, operational safety reviews, capacity gap analysis
- Improve and add to team best practices and processes
- Be responsible for the results of their team
- Communicate to stakeholders on progress of initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience within last mile planning function
- Detailed knowledge of last mile and operational execution activities
- Experience using complex route optimisation tools
- Experience translating large and complex data dets into meaningful insights and actions
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of key cost lines for last mile and how to influence them
- A consistent history of delivering measurable results for both customer and the business
- Experience in large, complex organisations
- Experience working with large retail or strategy functions preferred
- Experience working in fast paced environments and comfortable with change
