About the role
This full-time and permanent role is to work closely with the Program Manager to help shape and drive the governance, planning, and investment profile of Store Development, including New Stores, Renewal, Innovation and more.
As an Investment Analyst, a key aspect of the role is to deliver executive communications to senior leaders at the Head-of and General Manager level. Additionally, you will have exposure to many areas of the business including commercial, finance, property and more.
Your day to day will also include:
- Conduct high quality quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve complex, strategic problems across the business
- Synthesise analysis to draw conclusions and provide recommendations to the business to enable execution against strategic initiatives
- Provide key stakeholders with the 'so what' insights to enable effective decisions for the business
- Proactively drive internal communication of ongoing strategic initiatives, priorities and progress
- Collaborate with multiple cross functional project teams comprising BAU resource to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and that business benefits are realised.

Our ideal candidate will be able to:
- Retail and/or FMCG experience
- Experience in using technology and data to solve problems
- Experience with PowerBI and creating reports and dashboards
- Experience with Project Portfolio Management software (PPM) is advantageous
- Experience working in high growth, ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Proven experience in complex analytical problem solving (eg hypothesis based problem solving)
- High level of proficiency using appropriate analytical tools & techniques
- Experience presenting to senior business stakeholders including GM’s and Heads’ Of
