About the role

Our Coles distribution team work hard to deliver quality goods from suppliers right to your door and so we’re looking for an exceptional Inventory Manager to join our brand-new Customer Fulfillment Centre! This is an incredible opportunity to be involved in the commissioning of a supermarkets fulfilment centre, one of the first of its kind nationally.

 

Located in Wetherill Park this unique facility will utilise state of the art technology and automation to deliver outstanding service to customers.

What you’ll be doing

As Inventory Manager for our new Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) you’ll be leading our inventory management function onsite. You’ll be responsible for ensuring stock integrity within the facility is maintained and quality standards are established, implemented and regularly monitored.

 

You’ll also

  • Provide leadership support and direction to the team in all aspects of inventory management to optimise fulfilment and reduce waste.
  • Drive national compliance and inventory policies across the facility and manage key functions such as recalls, damages and quality checks.
  • Monitor and review all functions relating to cycle counting, stock adjustments, relays and new lines

 

Good things you’ll need

We’re looking for an experienced Inventory Manager that can handle competing workloads in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in fast paced in logistics, manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods or retail environments.
  • A collaborative and transformational leadership approach with the ability to delegate and manage across shifts.
  • Previous Inventory manager experience within a distribution centre or customer fulfilment centre.
  • Experience driving operational efficiencies through market leading warehouse and inventory management systems, including to optimise stock flow & reduce waste.
  • tertiary or equivalent management/logistics qualifications beneficial, but not essential
