About the role 

 

As an Insights & Analytics Analyst you will work closely with the Insights and Analytics Manager to support our Sustainability team within the Commercial Business unit.  You will operationalise the use of data analytics, visualisation and insights to build reports in Microsoft Power BI to meet sustainability regulatory and legislative obligations.  

 

You will:

 

  • Deliver high quality commercial insights and analytics dashboards and reporting.
  • Collaborate with our centralised IT data hub in our hub and spoke model to support the movement of data into our cloud-based data warehouse.
  • Lead and facilitate insight generation workshops with varied stakeholders.
  • Work closely with our Sustainability team to understand the reporting requirements and deliver the end products.   

  

About you and your skills 

 

As part of this small team, you will have the ability to support and partner with varied stakeholders as part of the wider Commercial team.  This role will enable you to genuinely have impact in the work that you will do.  

 

You will also have:

 

  • Working experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (Microsoft Power BI preferred) is essential.
  • Highly capable in PowerPoint, Excel and able to communicate data driven decisions and strategy, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience working with databases, with cloud-based data platforms highly regarded (Snowflake preferred).
  • Past/current experience with Retail product data will be highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in working with and influencing stakeholders within a complex matrix environment.
  • Experience in conducting workshops and presenting in meetings, with the ability to articulate data management concepts tailored to the literacy of the stakeholder.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate the impact and data insights to technical and non-technical audiences 

  

Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract.
