About the role

Directly reporting to our Head of Identity this is a highly sought-after opportunity for an experienced Identity Architect to provide architecture for identity and access management technologies, assist in developing patterns and managing roadmaps whilst providing recommendations in relation to Coles’ enterprise security architecture, control frameworks, governance activities and security strategy.

 

As the Identity Architect, you can expect to:

  • Develop and maintain frameworks and roadmaps across all Identity and Access Management domains to ensure alignment with Coles IT and business objectives;
  • Maintain and enhance Coles’ enterprise Identity and Access Management architecture and control frameworks;
  • Perform security control assessments using the Coles CSF and other frameworks across all domains including cloud platforms;
  • Assist with the development of the Coles Identity and Access Management strategy, ensuring that the strategy aligns to the overall Coles, Technology and Information Security strategies and is continually updated to address the ever-evolving Identity and Access Management landscape;
  • Contribute to architecture governance forums such as the Design Authority (DA) and Joint Architecture Group (JAG), providing broader governance over other initiatives and activities to ensure quality outcome;
  • Provide advice or guidance to projects or teams that require high level advice or Identity and Access Management scoping;
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Identity and Access Management engineers;

 

About you & your skills

You are passionate about driving change, diversity, and delivery across the organisation as an experienced Identity and Access Management Architect.

 

As part of your toolkit, you will have:

  • Experience in the use and application of enterprise Identity and Access Management architecture’s, including strategic planning, roadmap development and pattern lifecycle management;
  • Extensive experience ensuring major infrastructure and application project/initiatives are aligned with key identity and security principles, patterns and identifying key Identity and Access Management technologies to enable future projects;
  • Experience across multiple information security roles with the focus on Identity and Access Management architectures and security control frameworks (NIST, MITRE, ISO 27001 etc);
  • Broad experience across multiple security domains;
  • Experience in developing and maintaining formal architectural governance frameworks and governing initiatives;
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management technology and solutions such as Azure AD, CyberArk, Microfocus, SailPoint;
  • Detailed knowledge of industry standards including: SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OIDC and LDAP
