About the role
To build and deliver the long term, end to end fulfilment & last mile strategy for the Coles grocery ecommerce business. Driving market share and profit by identifying and executing opportunities for efficiency, cost control, order and sales growth across all customer propositions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the long-term network strategy for last mile delivery across all B2C and B2B propositions including the integration of CFCs
- Create an integrated network plan that provides a single view of the network across all propositions, enabling optimisation and cost efficiencies
- Develop and implement a strategy that enables Coles to stay connected to advances in last mile tech capabilities
- Build and deliver the strategy for the use of AI to streamline last mile operations
- Identify opportunities for adjacent commercial revenues by providing delivery services for other Coles Group businesses
- Develop & deliver the long term strategy for fulfilment of e-commerce orders at Coles
- Build a detailed, 3 year, end-to-end productivity plan across all customer propositions
- Lead the delivery of the Unified Last Mile program through the team, enabling advanced delivery orchestration and efficiencies
About You
- Minimum 5 years senior leadership experience, ideally within e-commerce at a large retailer
- Strategy and/or consultancy experience preferred
- Operational experience within grocery e-commerce last mile and fulfilment desirable
