About the role

 

As the Head of Agency Sales, you will lead agency sales for Coles 360. Your role is to build and inspire a high-performing sales team, deliver revenue growth, and strengthen partnerships with advertisers, agencies, publishers and broadcasters.

 

This leadership position requires strong expertise in digital media sales, customer insights, data and analytics, team leadership and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Sales Leadership – Recruit, coach and develop sales managers and sales support teams. Build a results-driven culture that consistently achieves and exceeds sales targets.
  • Revenue Growth – Design and execute sales strategies across product categories (insights, activation, measurement). Deliver on monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Sales Strategy & Processes – Implement performance metrics, forecasting, reporting, and sales enablement tools to drive efficiency and results.
  • Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across FMCG/CPG brands, media agencies, publishers and broadcasters.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Product, Analytics, Marketing and Operations to deliver client outcomes and guide product innovation.
  • Market & Product Innovation – Translate customer and industry trends into actionable insights for product development and innovation.
  • This role will require regular travel between VIC and NSW.

 

Skills and capabilities

 

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience as a senior sales leader in media, advertising, or digital insights
  • Expertise in data-driven sales, analytics, insights, and audience activation.
  • Strong capability in sales forecasting, budgeting, strategy design and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate large, complex commercial agreements.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performance, multi-location sales teams.
  • Skills in coaching, mentoring, and developing future leaders.
  • Established credibility with advertisers, agencies and marketing leaders.
