Our central digital marketing team is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to join the team and partner closely with our eCommerce function. You will be responsible for developing and driving the marking strategy to accelerate new customer growth for new products and ventures as well as create and implement customer messaging and go-to -market plans.

 

 

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager – Acquisition & Engagement, you will utilise growth hacking to activate marketing channels and drive customer acquisition and growth for Coles’ new ventures. You will focus on digital marketing and media opportunities which can drive growth for all metrics along the user journey – acquisition, activation, retention and frequency.

 

You’ll also:

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan underpinned by customer insights, needs analysis and market opportunities.
  • Work cross functionally with broader marketing and e-commerce teams to deliver the end-to-end growth marketing program in line with the strategy, plan and budget
  • Manage channel performance tracking, analytics and reporting in conjunction with agency partners and Marketing Analytics to measure effectiveness of activity and share actionable insight
  • Effectively leverage customer data and MarTech to drive a connected always on approach to improve the customer experience
  • Plan and manage execution of all strategic Coles Online propositions and offer marketing plans for ecommerce, including SEM, SEO, social, eDM and ATL channels
  • Work cross functionally with broader marketing and e-commerce teams to deliver the end-to-end growth marketing program in line with the strategy, plan and budget
  • Act as a SME embedding knowledge and expertise across wider marketing department in area of digital acquisition and growth


 

Good thinks you’ll need

We’re after a customer led digital marketing professional with strong knowledge and experience in growth marketing or growth hacking. Prior experience working at a start-up or in a growth industry will be highly regarded.

 

You’ll also need:

  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver fully integrated campaigns
  • Experience managing external agencies to meet creative and media objectives.
  • Experience in data and analytics to identify target customers, evaluate performance of the program and identify opportunities for development
  • Experience working in an extremely fast paced environment and being able to react to changes quickly and efficiently
  • Influencing skills to work with internal stakeholders to implement and advance the digital advertising program
