About the role
Join a high performing strategy team at the centre of Coles’ transformation, partnering with senior executives to define enterprise priorities, solve complex business challenges and deliver strategic initiatives that shape the future direction and growth of the Group, your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development and delivery of enterprise strategy initiatives aligned to Group priorities
- Provide strategic and financial insights that inform executive decision making and business performance
- Drive the alignment and execution of the Group corporate plan across key business areas
- Lead complex analysis and structured problem solving to develop actionable recommendations and measurable outcomes
- Identify strategic risks and opportunities, implementing proactive mitigation and delivery plans
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing alignment and execution across the Group
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering analytical excellence and high performance
- Facilitate strategic workshops and discussions that accelerate decision making and organisational alignment
About you and your skills
You are a commercially minded strategy leader with a track record of solving complex business challenges, influencing senior stakeholders and leading high performing teams to deliver impactful outcomes. You will also bring:
- Experience within a leading management consulting firm (ideally MBB) or a corporate strategy function in a large and complex organisation
- Strong capability developing strategic recommendations supported by robust analysis and commercial insight
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from strategy through to execution and measurable outcomes
- Expertise in financial analysis, modelling and translating data into meaningful business decisions
- Exceptional communication skills with experience preparing board and executive level presentations
- Proven ability to coach, inspire and develop teams while building strong stakeholder partnerships
