Group Product Manager - Hawthorn East

We’ve been trusted to serve Aussie communities since 1914 and grown to become a top 30-listed on the ASX with over 115,000 team members and a portfolio of iconic brands. At Coles Group, you’ll not only get to make a difference to millions of Aussie lives—you’ll also get to see your impact.

About the team

As the way we shop continues to evolve, our Digital team keeps us at the cutting edge. Driven by our innovative, inclusive, and forward-thinking culture, we’re constantly looking at ways to create differentiated, omni-channel experiences for our customers and build the next generation of digital retailing.

About the role

Coles is on a journey to reimagine the omnichannel experience — and we’re looking for a Group Product Manager to help lead that evolution. Reporting to the Head of Omnichannel Experience, you’ll lead initiatives that enable a more convenient and connected way for customers to shop, and for our team members to deliver great service.

You’ll lead a team of Product Managers and work closely with teams across Operations, Technology, and Customer to build both customer-facing and operational solutions — turning big ideas into scalable, store-ready products that drive real impact.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of in-store retail at scale — in a business that reaches millions of Australians every week. If you’re a product leader who wants to solve real problems, deliver meaningful solutions, and lead bold initiatives with national impact — we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive the product strategy for in-store experience — identifying where digital can create the most value for customers and team members
  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap — from setting the vision to prioritising initiatives that scale across the store network
  • Identify and unlock new opportunities — using insights to improve the customer journey and simplify in-store operations
  • Partner across the business — collaborating with engineering, operations, commercial, and marketing to bring solutions to life
  • Create clarity and momentum — aligning teams around product priorities from discovery through to delivery
  • Communicate progress and impact — engaging senior stakeholders with clear, outcome-focused storytelling
  • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers — fostering a strong culture of ownership, experimentation, and continuous learning

About you

  • Have led end-to-end product strategy and execution in large organisations — especially in roles with digital, customer, commercial, and operational considerations
  • Are experienced in designing scalable omnichannel solutions that span digital platforms and physical environments
  • Know how to align cross-functional teams — you’ve lead product development across product, engineering, operations, design, and commercial, and you know how to create clarity
  • Are comfortable delivering big, visible initiatives — from proof of concept through to enterprise rollout
  • Balance ambition with pragmatism — you know when to move fast, when to scale, and how to navigate organisational complexity
  • Build product culture — through coaching, feedback, and creating a space where your team can learn, grow, and thrive
  • Communicate clearly and commercially — you’re just as comfortable in the weeds with your squad as you are presenting to executives
