Employment Type: Full-time
Seniority: Senior Leadership

Shape the Future of In‑Store Shopping
As our Group Product Manager – Digital Store Experience, you’ll lead the charge in redefining how customers shop with us in store. This brand‑new role exists to transform the traditional checkout into a seamless, intuitive, digitally‑enhanced experience that makes shopping easier, faster, and more enjoyable.

If you’re energised by building from the ground up, driving strategic digital innovation, and delivering meaningful change at scale, this is your opportunity to make a major impact.

What You’ll Lead
In this role, you will

  • Own and build the product vision and roadmap from scratch for our next‑generation in‑store digital checkout experience.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement new digital technologies and features that elevate the customer journey at the point of sale.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Experience, Operations, and Technology to bring your roadmap to life, from concept to rollout.
  • Champion customer‑centric thinking, ensuring every solution reduces friction and enhances ease at checkout.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment, influencing senior stakeholders and ensuring delivery of a cohesive, scalable digital experience.
  • Lead with a test‑and‑learn mindset, using insights and data to continuously refine and optimise the in‑store digital ecosystem.
  • Leadd, coach, and manage one or more Product Managers and their squads, setting clear direction, expectations, and priorities.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience delivering large‑scale, strategic digital initiatives, ideally in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
  • A strong background in retail, with a deep understanding of customer behaviour and in‑store operational realities.
  • Experience working with or around POS systems is helpful but not essential. We're looking for someone who had delivered large strategic, digital, customer facing pieces of work.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, inspire, and drive clarity across teams.
  • Strong track record of delivering commercially impactful digital initiatives, with clear accountability for revenue growth, cost efficiency, margin protection, or productivity uplift.
  • A passion for innovation, experimentation, and solving real customer problems through technology.
  • A strategic thinker who can zoom out to define the vision and zoom in to guide execution.

Why This Role Matters

This is not an incremental improvement role, it’s a chance to reimagine the in‑store experience for millions of customers. You’ll be shaping the future of how people shop, blending digital innovation with the physical retail environment in ways that truly make a difference.

If you’re excited by the idea of building something new, leading with purpose, and delivering products that customers love, we’d love to meet you.
