About the role

 

As the Finance Assets Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting fixed asset accounting, capitalisation and capex control, ensuring accuracy, compliance and high‑quality analysis.

Please note: This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

  • Manage fixed asset accounting activities, including asset set‑up, capitalisation, depreciation and disposals
  • Support capex governance through accurate tracking, monitoring and reconciliation of capital spend
  • Ensure fixed asset data integrity across financial systems, maintaining accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and analyse fixed asset and capex reports to support month‑end, budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Investigate variances, anomalies and data issues, applying strong problem‑solving skills to identify root causes
  • Partner with project managers and non‑financial stakeholders to ensure correct capitalisation treatment
  • Respond to fixed asset and capex queries, escalating complex issues where required
  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls, efficiency and reporting quality


About you and your skills

 

You have experience in fixed asset and capex accounting and apply sound analysis and problem‑solving skills to support accurate financial control. You will bring:
 
  • Experience in fixed asset accounting, capitalisation or capex management within a finance or accounting environment
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret data, identify issues and deliver well‑reasoned solutions
  • Experience working with large data sets and reconciling complex financial information
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles relating to fixed assets and capital expenditure
  • Highly developed problem‑solving capability, including root cause analysis and decision support
  • Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to see broader system and business impacts
  • Comfortable partnering with non‑financial stakeholders to influence correct financial outcomes
