About the team
Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.
<h3>About the role</h3>
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full capital project accounting lifecycle and ensuring all project activities meet business and financial standards. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and lead the offshore support team to deliver accurate, timely and compliant outcomes. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing the end‑to‑end capital project lifecycle, including project creation, variations and closure
- Overseeing all month‑end capital project activities such as provisions, reconciliations and reporting
- Ensuring all project accounting activities comply with financial, accounting and business policies
- Approving project creations, modifications, journals, reporting outputs and reconciliations in line with internal policy
- Leading and managing the performance of the offshore Capital Projects team
- Resolving internal and external escalations related to capital project activities
- Managing change across Capital Projects, including project‑related enhancements and process improvements
<h3>About you and your skill</h3>
You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and bring a strong understanding of capital project accounting best practice. You are comfortable leading others, resolving complex queries and ensuring high levels of accuracy and compliance. You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Experience managing end‑to‑end capital project accounting or similar financial processes
- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance requirements and month‑end activities
- The ability to lead, coach and support offshore or distributed teams
- Confidence resolving escalations and engaging effectively with stakeholders
- A continuous improvement mindset and strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer literacy and MS Office skills
- Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP, Ariba or other ERP systems
