About the role

 

Reporting to the Senior Finance manager, State Support, the Finance Manager Store Insights role is pivotal in ensuring consistent & efficient ways of working across all states, as well as providing end to end insight to our Operations leadership team. You will partner the Senior Finance Manager and other key stakeholders within the business to support and understand key business performance drivers and raise recommendations on actions required to improve commercial outcome across the nation.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

You will support the Operations leadership team in understanding trade drivers across the states by conducting analysis and drawing enhanced and relevant insight to drive improved business performance. You will also provide commercial leadership for the development and execution of national and state plans, ensuring alignment. Additional responsibilities will include but not be restricted to the following:

  • business partnering and influencing State General Manager and provide key decision support to productivity initiatives through robust cost management programmes, monthly commercial reviews and analysing financial and non-financial performance metrics
  • partnering and providing fact based commercial insight to State General Managers and Operations leadership team
  • partnering with Head of Operations and ASMs to drive capability and deliver results, to ensure our ongoing commercial success
  • embedding the new standardised dashboard reporting and insights eco-system into the states
  • Sharing knowledge and success across states

 

Good things you’ll need

 

We’re after highly skilled professionals with considerable experience.

 

You’ll also need:

 

  • A CA/CPA qualification
  • strong business partnering experience
  • the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders to support commercial outcomes
  • strong analytical and commercial capabilities
  • a track record of demonstrating a simple and collaborative approach
  • strong commercial acumen
  • the ability to balance support and flexibility for business demands with challenge and influence senior leaders
