About the role   
 


We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our  Digital Product Finance team focusing on accelerating digital through partnering with Business Leaders to bring financial expertise and enable strategic decision making. You will be responsible for;

 

  • Partner with and support senior leaders in the function this role supports to provide commercial decision support.
  • Actively monitor results against targets, assessing risks, opportunities, provide recommendations and challenge financial decision making. 
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to a small team of Finance Business Partners and/or Business Analysts and/or Graduates. 
  • Manage the budget process for the area of the business this role supports 
  • Manage the forecasting process for the area of the business this role supports
  • Lead the development of better ways of working and system/process improvement. Autonomously lead financial control, governance and integration for strategic programs for the area of the business this role supports. 

 

About you and your skills 
  

We are looking for an experienced finance leader who can bring a high level of energy and passion to the team. You will have experience leading high performing teams and you will also have;

 

  • CPA/CA qualified.
  • Proven management and leadership skills with a strong emphasis on interpersonal skills.
  • Finance experience in a retail environment is desirable but not essential with the right combination of experience 
  • Experience in developing and managing high performance finance teams 
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders to challenge and influence them to create sound commercial and financial outcomes 
  • Proven experience in delivering financial control information to identify business opportunities/challenges, recommend alternate actions, and oversee implementation 
  • Proven ability to drive organisational change 
  • Proven ability to deal with complexities and high-level information · Self-starter who displays tolerance, innovation, creativity, decisiveness, flexibility and open mindedness to alternative views.
