About the role


Our Finance team partner with every area of our business and ensure commercial thinking feeds into everything we do. By working across every team, we look at how we’re performing and provide useable insights to support strategic business decisions. With Australian former ‘CFO of The Year’ Leah Weckert steering our team, we set up our customers and people for success through good commercial sense.


What you'll be doing


In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of transformational digital and strategic projects for the CFO Function. You will also build process optimisation capability across the function and ensure delivery of process improvement initiatives.


Good things you'll need


We’re after a highly skilled professional with considerable experience.


You’ll also need:

  • a CA / CPA (or similar) qualification with proven management experience in a complex corporate environment
  • advanced knowledge of finance processes and experience in the collaborative development of new, or review of existing, processes and/or ways of working
  • experience with Process Optimisation methodology preferred (Lean 6 Sigma)
  • experience with finance and business systems, preferably those in use at Coles
  • excellent interpersonal skills with significant experience managing internal stakeholders at GM level
  • strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
