About the role
As Finance Business Partner - eCommerce Operations, you’ll play a key role in partnering with operational leaders to drive commercial performance, influence strategic decision making and deliver meaningful business outcomes across a highly automated and fast paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Acting as a trusted business partner to operational leaders, providing commercial insights that drive performance and support strategic priorities
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis to deliver clear, value add recommendations across the NSW CFC
- Influencing business decisions through data led insights, commercial challenge and proactive stakeholder engagement
- Partnering with cross functional teams to improve financial performance, operational efficiency and cost outcomes
- Identifying risks and opportunities and leading conversations to support delivery of P&L and cost centre targets
- Supporting business initiatives with robust financial modelling, business cases and commercial recommendations
- Delivering regular business performance reviews that translate financial data into actionable outcomes
- Driving continuous improvement across reporting, processes and ways of working to enhance operational effectiveness
- Collaborating with Finance and operational stakeholders to embed consistent reporting, governance and best practice processes
- Building strong relationships across site teams and third party providers to foster a high performing and commercially focused culture
About you and your skill
You’re a commercially curious finance professional who enjoys being close to the operation, building trusted partnerships and turning numbers into action. With a strong mix of financial control, reporting, planning and business partnering experience, You will also bring:
- CA or CPA qualification coupled a strong finance background across reporting, planning and analysis, and business partnering
- Demonstrated experience in commercial finance within logistics, manufacturing, retail or automated distribution environments
- Strong ability to influence strategic direction and improve business performance through commercially focused decision support
- Proven experience driving organisational change and partnering with leaders to deliver business improvement initiatives
- Advanced analytical capability with experience translating data into meaningful commercial insights and recommendations
- Confidence to challenge, influence and engage stakeholders to deliver stronger business outcomes and performance improvements
