About the role


A great opportunity to Partner with and support senior leaders in managing key programs across Operations’ Workforce Strategy plan enabling the success of Coles’ Smarter Selling Strategy while minimising workforce risks across the P&L.



What you'll be doing


  • Support key programs’ planning processes, including communicating clearly assumptions & targets, challenging submissions and identifying synergies
  • Identify and quantify activities that may impact on forecasts, with risks and opportunities understood and measured
  • Partner with business stakeholders to execute the plan, identify opportunities, and mitigate risk
  • Support refinement of reporting to enable effective decision making
  • Perform cost centre reviews and identifies opportunities for cost efficiencies.



Good things you'll need


  • CPA/CA qualified desirable or extensive Commercial/Strategy experience required
  • Exposure to reporting suites and information sources desirable (e.g. TM1, BIW, SAP, Visual Insights)
  • Finance and/or Strategy experience in a retail environment is very desirable
  • Ability to influence and challenge the thinking of senior stakeholders to create sound commercial and financial outcomes
  • Proven experience in delivering commercial and strategic information to senior stakeholders, identifying business opportunities/challenges, recommending action, and overseeing implementation
  • Proven ability to deal with complexity and high-level information
  • Proven technical skills displayed through financial and strategic analysis, and best practice reporting of insights including actionable recommendations #LI-FIN
