Our Finance team are a vital partner in every aspect of our business, providing commercial insights to drive our success and influence everything we do. With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.
<h3>About the Role</h3>
As a Finance Business Partner - Transport, you’ll play a critical role in driving strategic and operational outcomes through meaningful financial insight. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to influence decisions, improve performance, and support key initiatives across the transport function.
Key focus areas include:
- Partnering with stakeholders to deliver actionable financial insights and support decision-making.
- Challenging and influencing outcomes using data-driven analysis.
- Leading planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for Coles Transport
- Supporting contract management and procurement from a finance perspective
- Preparing business cases and benefit reviews to enable continuous improvement
- Ensure risks (financial and non-financial) are clearly articulated and addressed in decision making
- Partnering with the stakeholders (finance and non-finance) to drive positive change and enhance information provided to senior stakeholders to support the transport agenda
<h3>About You and Your Skills<h3>
You’re a proactive finance professional who thrives on collaboration and driving value through insight. You bring a strong commercial lens and the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
You’ll bring:
- CA or CPA qualified, ideally Big 4/Mid-tier trained
- Experience in supply chain or retail environments (preferred), with a focus on partnering for impact
- Ability to communicate complex financial issues to a broad audience.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to drive performance and improvement.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing, and business partnering skills.
- Experience of managing largre projects and creating valuable impact
