About the role
As Finance Business Partner - Transformation Projects, you will combine commercial finance, strategic business partnering and transformation delivery in a highly visible role. Working closely with senior leaders, you will help shape performance outcomes, track value delivery and provide the insights that influence key business decisions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with business leaders to establish transformation targets, track delivery milestones and measure value creation outcomes across strategic initiatives
- Drive enterprise wide performance reporting, forecasting and analysis that supports executive decision making and strategic priorities
- Prepare high quality insights, presentations and reporting for senior leadership, executive forums and external stakeholders
- Collaborate across multiple functions to align financial assumptions, benefits tracking and transformation priorities
- Support enterprise planning and budgeting processes, providing commercial analysis that informs investment and strategic decisions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting capability, governance standards, data integrity and operational efficiency
- Support the governance and performance management of transformation initiatives, ensuring robust evaluation, prioritisation and benefit tracking
- Coordinate assurance and compliance activities to maintain strong governance frameworks and stakeholder confidence
- Monitor strategic program investment, costs and value delivery to maximise business outcomes and return on investment
About you and your skills
You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, navigating complexity and helping organisations realise the value of strategic change. You bring a blend of analytical strength, stakeholder influence and transformation experience that enables you to drive meaningful outcomes. You will also bring:
- Ideally, Big 4/Mid-Tier with a strong foundation in FP&A, business partnering and strategic decision support
- Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, business performance and decision support
- Experience partnering with senior business leaders to influence strategy, performance and commercial outcomes
- Proven ability to challenge constructively, disrupt conventional thinking and influence stakeholders to drive better outcomes
- Demonstrated experience supporting large scale transformation, strategic change programs or enterprise wide initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling capability with the ability to convert complex financial and operational data into compelling insights and recommendations
- Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of driving process enhancements and operational efficiencies
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value creation, cost optimisation and measurable business outcomes
- Ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights and recommendations
